Position Overview

This role offers the chance to manage and execute a diverse range of projects, including significant infrastructure design, water quality assessments, and network optimization initiatives. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our water network modeling division. As part of our team, your responsibilities will encompass the entire design process, from initial feasibility studies to construction design, operational support, and optimization strategies.

Key Qualifications
  1. Educational Background: A Bachelor's degree or higher in civil engineering, environmental engineering, water resources engineering, or a related discipline.
  2. Certifications: Relevant certifications or training in hydraulic modeling software, such as Synergi, are highly desirable.
  3. Industry Experience: Proven experience in hydraulic modeling and pressure management within the water sector.
  4. Software Proficiency: Expertise in utilizing Synergi software for hydraulic modeling and analysis.
  5. Additional Software Skills: Familiarity with Infoworks ICM, Microdrainage, or other recognized software for hydraulic modeling of wastewater and drainage systems.
  6. Pressure Management: Experience conducting pressure management studies, including identifying areas for pressure reduction and assessing network performance.
  7. System Design Knowledge: Understanding of water distribution and wastewater system design, operation, and maintenance practices.
  8. Risk Assessment: Knowledge of design risk assessment and adherence to health and safety standards.
  9. Hydraulic Principles: Strong grasp of hydraulic principles, network analysis, and water distribution system modeling.
  10. Model Development: Ability to develop and calibrate hydraulic models, including data collection and verification processes.
  11. Analytical Skills: Proficient in interpreting and analyzing hydraulic modeling results to provide actionable recommendations.
  12. GIS Knowledge: Familiarity with Geographic Information System (GIS) tools.
Analytical and Problem-Solving Expertise

Demonstrated ability to analyze intricate hydraulic systems and pinpoint performance challenges. Capacity to interpret and effectively present data findings.
