About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at CL Chartered Professional Accountant Ltd. As a Bookkeeper, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the financial records and accounts of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping
    • Accurately record and reconcile financial transactions, including cheques, deposits, and credit card transactions.
    • Prepare and maintain general ledgers, financial statements, and other financial reports.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping
    • Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, accounts payable, and accounts receivable.
    • Post journal entries, reconcile accounts, and prepare trial balance of books.
  • Financial Analysis and Reporting
    • Prepare financial reports, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements.
    • Provide financial analysis and recommendations to management.
  • Computer and Technology Skills
    • Proficient in accounting software, including QuickBooks and Xero.
    • Skilled in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office.
  • Work Environment and Physical Demands
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
    • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Personal Qualities
    • Accurate and reliable.
    • Client-focused and organized.
    • Team player with excellent communication skills.
  • Education and Experience
    • 3 years to less than 5 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting.
  • Other Benefits
