About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Bookkeeper to join our team at Realtrustia Property Management. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate and up-to-date financial records, preparing financial statements, and ensuring compliance with accounting standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping
    • Accurately record and reconcile financial transactions
    • Prepare and maintain general ledgers and financial statements
    • Ensure accurate and timely financial reporting
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping
    • Prepare and process financial transactions, including payroll and accounts payable
    • Maintain and balance various accounts using manual and computerized bookkeeping systems
    • Prepare and submit tax returns and other financial reports
  • Financial Analysis and Planning
    • Prepare and analyze financial statements and reports
    • Develop and implement financial plans and budgets
    • Provide financial guidance and support to management
  • Computer and Technology Knowledge
    • Proficient in accounting software, including QuickBooks
    • Ability to learn and adapt to new technology and systems
Requirements
  • 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or accounting
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in accounting or related field preferred
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Working Conditions
  • 35 hours per week
  • Permanent position
  • English language required
