About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team at Spa Botanica. As a Bookkeeper, you will be responsible for maintaining the financial records and accounts of our company.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Record Keeping: Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledgers.
  • Accounting and Bookkeeping: Prepare and reconcile financial statements, including balance sheets and income statements.
  • Payroll and Benefits: Calculate and prepare cheques for payroll, and maintain accurate records of employee benefits.
  • Inventory Management: Compile inventory reports and maintain accurate records of inventory levels.
  • Financial Analysis: Analyze financial data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in bookkeeping or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills, attention to detail, and ability to work independently.
Work Environment

As a Bookkeeper at Spa Botanica, you will work in a hybrid environment with a permanent work term. You will be required to work 35 to 40 hours per week.
