Job Summary

As a Senior Administrative Assistant at the Canadian Institute for Health Information (CIHI), you will provide advanced administrative support to the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and ITS Directors. This is a key role that requires a high level of initiative and judgment, working with minimal supervision.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide administrative support to the CIO and ITS Directors, including coordinating meetings, preparing reports, and maintaining records.
  • Develop and implement administrative processes and procedures to improve efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior administrative staff.
Requirements
  • Post-secondary education in a related field, such as business administration or a related field.
  • Minimum 2-3 years of experience in an administrative role, preferably in a healthcare or government setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
