Currently Seeking a Supervisor, Metallurgy:

About Your Role:

As the Supervisor of Metallurgy, you will oversee the operational activities of the Assay Laboratory and Metallurgy. Your duties will include managing assay samples, gold reporting, and performing metallurgical test work.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervise the Assay team.
  • Provide leadership and training for laboratory personnel.
  • Coordinate with various departments for sample processing.
  • Develop standard assay procedures.
  • Collaborate with maintenance for equipment upkeep.
  • Implement new technologies for assay optimization.
  • Ensure a safe working environment.
  • Maintain laboratory inventory and equipment.
  • Analyze plant parameters for optimization.
  • Conduct metallurgical tests for process enhancement.
  • Coordinate sampling campaigns.
  • Monitor mass meters and samplers.
  • Manage reagent inventory.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Professional Engineering Designation is an asset.
  • Prior experience in gold processing plants.
  • Minimum 10 years in Metallurgy with 5 years of supervisory experience.

Working Conditions:

This position operates on a rotational schedule at a remote camp. Transportation is provided from various locations.
