Currently Seeking a Metallurgy Supervisor:

About Your Role:

As the Metallurgy Supervisor, you will manage the operational aspects of the Assay Laboratory and Metallurgy. Your duties will include overseeing assay samples, gold reporting, and conducting metallurgical testing.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Assay team.
  • Provide guidance and training for laboratory personnel.
  • Coordinate with various departments for sample management.
  • Establish standard assay protocols.
  • Work with maintenance for equipment management.
  • Introduce new technologies for assay enhancement.
  • Ensure a safe working environment.
  • Manage laboratory inventory and equipment.
  • Analyze plant parameters for optimization.
  • Conduct metallurgical tests for process enhancement.
  • Oversee sampling initiatives.
  • Monitor mass meters and samplers.
  • Manage reagent supplies.

Required Skills:

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Professional Engineering Designation is advantageous.
  • Previous experience in gold processing facilities.
  • A minimum of 10 years in Metallurgy with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.

Working Conditions:

This position operates on a rotational schedule at a remote site. Transportation is provided from various locations.
