Currently Seeking a Supervisor, Metallurgy:

Your Role:

As the Supervisor of Metallurgy, you will be responsible for overseeing the operational activities of the Assay Laboratory and Metallurgy. Your duties will include managing assay samples, gold reporting, and conducting metallurgical testing.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Supervising the Assay team.
  • Providing leadership and training to laboratory personnel.
  • Coordinating with various departments for sample processing.
  • Developing standard assay procedures.
  • Collaborating with maintenance for equipment upkeep.
  • Implementing new technologies for assay optimization.
  • Ensuring a safe working environment.
  • Maintaining laboratory inventory and equipment.
  • Analyzing plant parameters for optimization.
  • Conducting metallurgical tests for process enhancement.
  • Coordinating sampling campaigns.
  • Monitoring mass meters and samplers.
  • Managing reagent inventory.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
  • Professional Engineering Designation is advantageous.
  • Prior experience in gold processing facilities.
  • A minimum of 10 years in Metallurgy with at least 5 years in a supervisory role.

Working Conditions:

This position operates on a rotational schedule at a remote camp, with transportation provided from various locations.
