Currently Hiring for a Supervisor, Metallurgy:
About Your Role:
As the Supervisor of Metallurgy, you will oversee the operational functions of the Assay Laboratory and Metallurgy. Your responsibilities include managing assay samples, gold reporting, and conducting metallurgical test work.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supervise the Assay team.
- Provide leadership and training for lab personnel.
- Coordinate with various departments for sample processing.
- Develop standard assay procedures.
- Collaborate with maintenance for equipment upkeep.
- Implement new technologies for assay optimization.
- Ensure a safe work environment.
- Maintain lab inventory and equipment.
- Analyze plant parameters for optimization.
- Conduct metallurgical tests for process improvement.
- Coordinate sampling campaigns.
- Monitor mass meters and samplers.
- Manage reagent inventory.
Required Skills:
- Strong safety mindset.
- Expertise in mineral processing.
- Effective communication and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in metallurgical software.
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering.
- Professional Engineering Designation is an asset.
- Prior experience in gold processing plants.
- Minimum 10 years in Metallurgy with 5 years of supervisory experience.
Working Conditions:
This role operates on a rotational schedule at a remote camp. Transportation is provided from various points.
