Bakery Operations Supervisor

Education Requirement: Completion of secondary education is essential.

Experience Requirement: A minimum of 5 years in a similar role is required.

Work Environment:

Position available in a supermarket or dedicated bakery section.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Prepare various doughs for breads, pastries, and other baked items, as well as batters for cookies and cakes, following specific recipes or customized orders.
  • Order necessary ingredients, tools, and supplies for production.
  • Oversee the baking process for mixed doughs and batters.
  • Provide training to team members on food preparation, cooking techniques, and safe food handling practices.
  • Decorate and frost cakes and other baked products.
  • Create and manage production schedules to ensure timely output.
  • Maintain product quality to meet established standards.
  • Supervise the sales and presentation of baked goods.
Supervisory Responsibilities:

Responsible for overseeing a small team of 1 to 2 individuals.

Specialty Areas:
  • Expertise in baking breads and rolls.
  • Proficient in creating desserts and pastries.
  • Experience with donuts and muffins.
Equipment Experience:
  • Familiarity with slicing machinery.
