Pastry Chef Assistant

We are a reputable bakery company seeking a skilled and dedicated individual to join our team as a Baker. As a Baker at La Baguette, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a variety of breads, pastries, and other sweet and savory goods.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough for pies, bread, rolls, and sweet goods, batters for muffins, cookies, and cakes, and icings and frostings according to recipes or special customer orders.
- Baking and Quality Control: Bake mixed dough and batters, and ensure that the quality of products meets established standards.
- Training and Development: Train staff in preparation, cooking, and handling of food, and ensure that they are equipped to provide excellent customer service.
- Inventory Management: Organize and maintain inventory, and ensure that all ingredients and supplies are readily available.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, and ensure that all customers are satisfied with their purchases.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
- Skills: Ability to distinguish between colors, attention to detail, fast-paced environment, hand-eye coordination, handling heavy loads, manual dexterity, physically demanding, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, tight deadlines, and work under pressure.
