Job SummaryWe are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Pastry Assistant to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing dough, batters, and icings for a variety of baked goods, including bread, rolls, cakes, and pastries.
Key Responsibilities- Preparation and Baking: Prepare dough, batters, and icings for a variety of baked goods, including bread, rolls, cakes, and pastries.
- Quality Control: Ensure that all products meet our high standards of quality and presentation.
- Training and Development: Train and develop our team members to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
- Inventory Management: Assist with the management of inventory, including ordering and stocking of ingredients and supplies.
- Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service, including responding to customer inquiries and resolving any issues that may arise.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a bakery or related field.
- Skills: Ability to distinguish between colors, attention to detail, fast-paced environment, hand-eye coordination, manual dexterity, physically demanding, repetitive tasks, standing for extended periods, and working under pressure.
