About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Technical Support Specialist. As a key member of our IT team, you will be responsible for providing top-notch technical support to our clients and ensuring the smooth operation of their IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support to clients via phone, email, and on-site visits
  • Perform technical assessments and document systems for new and existing clients
  • Track and resolve support requests through effective decision-making and problem-solving skills
  • Manage projects, such as building and deploying physical and virtual servers and IP telephony systems
  • Perform proactive preventative maintenance tasks on computers, servers, network infrastructure, etc.
  • Continually educate yourself through our career program on technology and IT security
Requirements
  • 1+ years' technical experience in the support of information technology solutions
  • Rudimentary knowledge of Microsoft desktop operating systems and Office suites / 365
  • Rudimentary understanding of networking technology and theory
  • A valid Class G driver's license and vehicle for travel throughout the National Capital Region
  • Full COVID-19 vaccination
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience in the following are considered a strong asset: Microsoft server operating systems from 2012R2 and higher, Exchange, SQL, SharePoint, Active Directory, Group Policy, remote desktop services, virtualization, etc.
  • Virtualization deployments (Hyper-V / VMWare)
  • Installation and support of data backup systems, AV platforms, etc.
