We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Carpenter to join our team at 11882805 Canada Inc.. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in woodworking and construction, with a focus on quality and safety.
Education and Experience- No formal degree, certificate, or diploma required.
- Minimum of 2 years to less than 3 years of relevant experience.
- Work may involve heights and confined spaces.
- Expect exposure to noisy and dusty conditions.
- Involves various construction sites including residential and renovation projects.
We are looking for someone with experience in maintenance and repair tasks.
Key Responsibilities- Measure, cut, shape, assemble, and join materials such as wood and lightweight steel.
- Prepare project tenders and cost quotations.
- Construct foundations, install floor beams, and erect walls and roofing systems.
- Fit and install windows, doors, stairs, moldings, and hardware.
- Coordinate and schedule work on various sites.
- Estimate costs and materials required for projects.
- Maintain, repair, and renovate wooden structures across different settings.
- Ability to bend, crouch, and kneel as needed.
- Combination of sitting, standing, and walking throughout the workday.
- Capable of handling heavy loads and managing a large workload.
- Physically demanding tasks with tight deadlines.
- Must possess personal safety equipment including steel-toed boots, hard hat, and safety glasses.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Client-focused with good judgment.
- Reliable team player with strong values and ethics.
This is a permanent position with a standard work schedule of 40 hours per week, primarily in English.
