Key Responsibilities- Construction and Repair: Build, install, and repair structures made of wood, wood substitutes, and other materials.
- Site Management: Schedule and coordinate work on construction sites, ensuring timely completion of projects.
- Team Collaboration: Work with other tradespeople and project managers to achieve project goals.
- Quality Control: Inspect and test structures to ensure they meet quality and safety standards.
- Material Estimation: Estimate costs and materials required for projects.
- Communication: Communicate effectively with clients, project managers, and other stakeholders.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in carpentry.
- Work Setting: Construction, renovation, and repair of residential and commercial buildings.
- Physical Demands: Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, with regular bending, crouching, kneeling, and handling heavy loads.
