Job Description for Second Cook at Bold Butchery & Grill

We are seeking a skilled Second Cook to join our team at Bold Butchery & Grill. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals and individual dishes, as well as training staff in food preparation and handling.

Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and cook complete meals and individual dishes, adhering to high standards of quality and presentation.
  • Train and supervise kitchen staff in food preparation, cooking, and handling techniques.
  • Order and manage inventory of food, supplies, and equipment, ensuring efficient use of resources.
  • Maintain a clean and organized kitchen and work areas, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Collaborate with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service and high-quality food production.
Requirements:
  • 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment with a minimum of 32 to 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication.
