Job Title: Sous Chef

Mount Pleasant Vintage & Provisions is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our culinary team. As a key member of our kitchen staff, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the preparation and presentation of our menu items.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation.
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food production.
  • Monitor inventory and requisition supplies as needed.
  • Ensure a clean and safe working environment in the kitchen.
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to develop new recipes and menus.
Requirements:
  • 2+ years of experience as a Sous Chef or in a similar role.
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.
