Corporate Officer Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Corporate Officer to join our team at the District of North Vancouver. As a key member of our leadership team, you will play a critical role in supporting the Director, Legislative Services + Corporate Officer, and contributing to the development and implementation of our strategic plans.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide administrative support to the Director, Legislative Services + Corporate Officer, including preparing reports, presentations, and other materials
- Assist in the development and implementation of policies, procedures, and programs related to corporate services
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to achieve organizational objectives
- Provide guidance and support to staff on corporate services-related matters
Requirements:
- Relevant degree with a minimum of five (5) years related experience within a local government setting
- Completed municipal administrations courses leading to a Certificate in Local Government Statutory Administration granted by the Board of Examiners and the Certified Municipal Clerk designation granted by the International Institute of Municipal Clerks
- Technical, administrative, and supervisory skills, including experience overseeing local government systems, records management, and electoral processes
