Deputy Corporate Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Corporate Officer to join our team at the District of North Vancouver. As a key member of our Legislative Services + Corporate Officer department, you will provide critical support to the Director and contribute to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide administrative support to the Director, including preparation of reports, correspondence, and presentations.
- Assist with the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures.
- Oversee local government systems, records management, and electoral processes.
- Supervise and mentor staff to enhance professional practice and promote a culture of excellence.
- Collaborate with colleagues to achieve organizational objectives and support the delivery of high-quality services to our community.
- Relevant degree with a minimum of five years of experience in local government administration.
- Completed municipal administration courses leading to a Certificate in Local Government Statutory Administration.
- Certified Municipal Clerk designation granted by the International Institute of Municipal Clerks.
- Proven technical, administrative, and supervisory skills, including experience with local government systems and records management.
