Deputy Corporate Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Corporate Officer to join our team at the District of North Vancouver. As a key member of our Legislative Services + Corporate Officer department, you will provide critical support to the Director and contribute to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide administrative support to the Director, including preparing reports, presentations, and other materials
- Assist with the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures
- Coordinate and facilitate meetings, workshops, and other events
- Manage and maintain accurate records and databases
- Develop and implement effective communication strategies to engage stakeholders and promote organizational goals
- Relevant degree with a minimum of five years of experience in local government administration
- Proven technical, administrative, and supervisory skills, including experience with local government systems, records management, and electoral processes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong focus on collaboration and inclusivity
- Certified Municipal Clerk designation or equivalent experience
