Deputy Corporate Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Corporate Officer to join our team at the District of North Vancouver. As a key member of our Legislative Services + Corporate Officer department, you will provide critical support to the Director and contribute to the success of our organization.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide administrative support to the Director, including preparing reports, presentations, and other materials
- Assist with the development and implementation of corporate policies and procedures
- Coordinate and manage various projects and initiatives, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results
- Collaborate with other departments to achieve organizational objectives and promote a culture of excellence
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including employees, council members, and external partners
- Relevant degree with a minimum of five years of experience in local government administration
- Proven technical, administrative, and supervisory skills, including experience with local government systems, records management, and electoral processes
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
- Flexibility and adaptability, with a willingness to learn and take on new challenges
