Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at St. John's Fish Exchange Kitchen & Wet Bar. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our kitchen and ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Establish and Implement Operational Procedures

Develop and implement effective methods to meet work schedules, ensuring that our kitchen runs smoothly and efficiently.

Supervise and Coordinate Kitchen Staff

Supervise and coordinate the activities of our kitchen staff, including food preparation, portioning, and presentation.

Hire and Train Kitchen Staff

Recruit, hire, and train new kitchen staff members to ensure that our team is well-equipped to provide excellent service.

Ensure Quality Control

Ensure that all food and service meet our high quality control standards, maintaining the highest level of customer satisfaction.

Address Customer Complaints

Address customer complaints and concerns in a professional and courteous manner, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.

Manage Inventory and Records

Manage inventory, records, and reports, including stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, to ensure that our kitchen is running efficiently.

Prepare and Submit Reports

Prepare and submit reports, including balance sheets, cash reports, and related forms, to ensure that our financial records are accurate and up-to-date.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.

Experience

3 years to less than 5 years of experience in a similar role.

Language

Fluent in English.

Work Hours

40 hours per week.
