Position Overview

As a Technical Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in assisting users who encounter challenges with their computer systems. Your expertise will help ensure smooth operations and enhance user satisfaction.

Qualifications
  • Education: Completion of College/CEGEP or equivalent experience is required.
  • Experience: Previous experience in a similar role is considered an asset.
Key Responsibilities
  • Address user issues related to computer functionality and provide effective solutions.
  • Offer guidance and training to users based on their identified challenges.
  • Maintain a comprehensive log of problems and solutions for reference by other technical support personnel.
  • Deliver support for business systems, networks, and Internet services in response to user inquiries.
  • Facilitate the setup of equipment for employee use, ensuring the correct installation of cables, operating systems, and necessary software.
  • Conduct backup and recovery operations for web servers.
  • Manage incidents efficiently to minimize disruption.
