About the Role

The Public Sector Capture Manager plays a pivotal role in driving business growth and success for Lenovo. This position involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop winning strategies and proposals for government contracts and large strategic pursuits.

Key Responsibilities
  • Capture and Proposal Management
    • Organize and drive all capture and proposal development activities to ensure timely and effective delivery.
    • Provide actionable insights and reports to leadership on upcoming RFPs and pursuits, enabling data-driven decision-making.
    • Coordinate responses with internal teams, including Client Managers, ISG, Solution Engineers, Technical Specialists, Legal, Sales, and Partners, to ensure seamless collaboration.
    • Manage PM legal paperwork for teaming arrangements, ensuring compliance and minimizing risks.
    • Monitor and control each pursuit, identifying and escalating potential risks as needed, and establishing regular call cadences to maintain momentum.
    • Ensure effective communication to all stakeholders, assigning action items and owners to ensure clear understanding and accountability.
  • Business Development and Strategy
    • Develop and execute winning strategies for government contracts and large strategic pursuits, leveraging industry expertise and market knowledge.
    • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and pursue new business opportunities, driving revenue growth and market expansion.
Requirements
  • Experience
    • 8+ years of experience in the Public Sector Capture field, including proposal development, business development, opportunity tracking, and research.
  • Skills and Qualifications
    • Strong organizational abilities, solid writing skills, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively.
    • Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple levels and subject matter experts, fostering effective communication and collaboration.
    • Experience in the technology industry, with a deep understanding of market trends and customer needs.
