Job Summary:

The John W. MacLeod - Fleming Tower Elem. is seeking a qualified Group Leader to join our after school program team. As a Group Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of staff members and overseeing the daily operations of the program.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of staff members to ensure the smooth operation of the after school program.
  • Develop and implement recreational programming for children aged 6-12.
  • Provide excellent customer service to parents and children.
  • Collaborate with other staff members to achieve program goals.
  • Ensure the health and safety of children in the program.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of one year's experience in the child care field.
  • Knowledge of recreational programming.
  • Strong communication and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
  • High School Completion Certificate or equivalent.

Assets:

  • Valid First Aid/CPR Certification.

Compensation:

$18.28 per hour plus vacation pay.
