Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Group Leader to join our team at Park West School. As a Group Leader, you will be responsible for leading a team of child care professionals and providing a safe and engaging environment for children in our after school program.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of child care professionals to provide high-quality care and programming for children
  • Develop and implement recreational programming that promotes physical and emotional well-being
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure a smooth and efficient program operation
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to ensure a positive and supportive environment
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant policies and procedures

Requirements:

  • Minimum of one year's experience in the child care field
  • Knowledge of recreational programming and its benefits
  • Strong communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work as part of a team and build positive relationships
  • High School Completion Certificate or equivalent

Assets:

  • Valid First Aid/CPR Certification
  • Rate of pay is $18.28 per hour plus vacation pay
