Transportation Business Development Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Business Development Manager to join our team at Lineage Logistics. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for driving business growth and developing strategic relationships with our customers.
Key Responsibilities- Manage Sales Performance: Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve annual sales goals and performance standards for all customers.
- Facility Optimization: Monitor facility-level EBITDA for assigned locations to ensure maximized capacity and performance.
- Customer Relationships: Establish and maintain effective business relationships with customers, prospects, and industry leaders to drive business growth and development.
- Competitive Insights: Understand local competitive landscapes and provide innovative solutions for customers to stay ahead of the competition.
- Business Alignment: Support and review initiatives to ensure alignment with short-term and long-term sales business plans and objectives.
- Customer Satisfaction: Communicate with customers and other appropriate parties to ensure high customer satisfaction and loyalty.
- Data Analysis: Provide data for pricing proposals and competitive insights to inform business decisions.
- Continuous Improvement: Identify and communicate continuous improvement and network optimization opportunities to customers and other appropriate parties.
- Leadership Support: Support Business Development leadership with sales initiatives and strategies.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or related field; or equivalent training in Business or Sales Management.
- Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, including the ability to deal with ambiguity. Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to interact with all levels of the organization.
- Experience: Demonstrated proficiency in development and implementation of strategy/annual plans (budget, operational performance, SOPs, workshops, etc.). Knowledge of temperature-controlled warehouse and logistics industry. Ability to travel up to 50%.
