Job Summary

Shipload Transportation is seeking a skilled Truck Driver to join our team. As a key member of our logistics operations, you will be responsible for transporting goods and materials across international routes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive Safely: Operate and drive straight or articulated trucks to transport goods and materials, ensuring the safety of yourself and others on the road.
  • Logistics Coordination: Obtain special permits and other documents required to transport cargo on international routes, ensuring compliance with regulations.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Perform pre-trip, en route and post-trip inspection and oversee all aspects of vehicle maintenance, ensuring optimal performance and safety.
  • Cargo Management: Record cargo information, hours of service, distance travelled and fuel consumption, providing accurate data for logistics planning.
  • Emergency Response: Perform emergency roadside repairs, ensuring minimal downtime and maintaining schedule integrity.
Requirements
  • Education: No degree, certificate or diploma required.
  • Experience: Will train on the job.
  • Work Environment: Work as part of a two-person team or convoy, with a focus on teamwork and communication.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 to 50 hours per week.
