About the Opportunity

As a key member of the patient care team, the Rehabilitation Assistant plays a vital role in helping individuals, families, and groups achieve their goals and improve their quality of life. Working collaboratively with therapists and other healthcare professionals, the Rehabilitation Assistant is responsible for delivering interventions that promote movement, occupation, and function. This may involve assisting with exercises, providing education and support, and maintaining a safe and clean environment.

About You

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in rehabilitation principles and practices, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. A Rehabilitation Assistant Program diploma or equivalent experience is required, as well as basic cardiac life support certification. The ability to communicate in French is an asset.

Hours and Compensation

This is a long-assignment, part-time position with 60 hours bi-weekly. The hourly rate is $25.95. Successful candidates may be eligible for our benefits package, which includes health, dental, travel, long-term disability, and life insurance coverage, as well as a defined benefit pension plan.
