Position Overview:
The Project Controls Coordinator will report directly to the Project Controls Manager, providing essential change management support for ongoing projects and assisting the project controls teams in their deliverables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist project teams with project control functions, including estimating, proposal development, cost systems (project setup in SAP and P6), change management, schedule reviews, project reporting, and related processes.
  • Establish and maintain a change log to monitor all internal and external changes and track progress through the change management process.
  • Act as the primary contact for all project changes.
  • Collaborate with planning/scheduling and cost teams in preparing Project Baseline Change Requests (PBCR).
  • Understand and operate within project-specific contract conditions.
  • Participate in project status reporting meetings with customers and internal management as needed.
  • Support cost control and project accounting teams as required.
  • Complete additional tasks as assigned by the direct line manager.
  • Prepare reporting documentation for internal Joint Venture communications.
  • Facilitate communication between the project controls team and the engineering/construction teams.
  • Implement project communication initiatives as identified by the project team.
  • Engage actively in all engineering, procurement, quality, and construction matters to gain a comprehensive understanding of project status.

Qualifications:

  • 1-3 years of relevant experience is preferred.
  • A college or university degree in Engineering or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Familiarity with SharePoint applications is an asset.
  • Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication within a large team.
  • Intermediate to advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
  • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple tasks in a high-pressure environment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with all levels of management and staff.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and advancement of technical knowledge.
  • Compliance with mandated nuclear export control requirements is necessary for employment.
  • Successful candidates will undergo a comprehensive background check, including security clearance and reference checks.
