About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Pest Control Specialist to join our team at Akim Pest Control Inc. As a Pest Control Specialist, you will be responsible for providing top-notch pest control services to our clients, ensuring their homes and businesses are free from unwanted pests.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect Buildings and Outside Areas: Conduct thorough inspections of buildings and outside areas to detect signs of infestation, including rodents, insects, and other pests.
  • Provide Estimates and Recommendations: Provide clients with detailed estimates of costs and recommend the most effective treatment options for their pest control needs.
  • Treatment and Prevention: Prepare and apply chemical mixtures to infested areas, fumigate households, and install animal control barriers to prevent future infestations.
  • Client Education and Support: Educate clients on how to prevent pest infestations and provide ongoing support to ensure their pest control needs are met.
  • Equipment Maintenance and Safety: Maintain and ensure the proper use of equipment, adhering to safety protocols and regulations.
Requirements
  • Provincial Pesticide Applicator Licence: Possess a valid Provincial Pesticide Applicator Licence.
  • Physical Demands: Be physically fit and able to work in a variety of environments, including confined spaces, dusty areas, and at heights.
  • Attention to Detail: Possess excellent attention to detail and be able to work independently with minimal supervision.
  • Communication Skills: Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients and colleagues.
