Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Supervision: Supervise and coordinate the activities of staff who prepare and portion food, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.
  • Training and Development: Train staff in job duties, sanitation, and safety procedures, ensuring that all team members are equipped to provide excellent service and maintain a safe working environment.
  • Inventory Management: Estimate ingredient and supply requirements for meal preparation, ensuring that we have the necessary resources to meet customer demand.
  • Quality Control: Ensure that food and service meet quality control standards, maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Customer Service: Address customer complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner, resolving issues promptly and efficiently.
  • Administrative Tasks: Maintain records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, preparing and submitting reports as required.
  • Scheduling: Establish work schedules for staff, ensuring that all areas of the food services operation are adequately covered.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a food services supervisory role.
  • Certifications: Required certifications for the position.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 32 to 44 hours per week.
