About the Role

This is a challenging and rewarding opportunity to join Scotiabank's team as a Senior Business Analyst, Operational Excellence. As a key member of our Operational Effectiveness team, you will play a critical role in driving business improvement initiatives and ensuring the bank's operations are efficient, effective, and aligned with our strategic objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Business Process Improvement: Lead the analysis and improvement of business processes to increase efficiency, reduce costs, and enhance customer experience.
  • Strategic Planning: Collaborate with stakeholders to develop and implement strategic plans that align with the bank's goals and objectives.
  • Change Management: Develop and implement change management plans to ensure smooth transitions and minimal disruption to business operations.
  • Stakeholder Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders, including business leaders, employees, and customers.
  • Operational Risk Management: Identify and mitigate operational risks to ensure the bank's operations are compliant with regulatory requirements and internal policies.
Requirements
  • Education: Post-secondary degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum 5 years of experience in business analysis, process improvement, or a related field.
  • Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Language: Fluency in English and Spanish is mandatory.
