Operations Excellence Analyst

About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Operations Excellence Analyst to join our International Operational Excellence team in Canada. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting our Issuing and Acquiring businesses to ensure a strong first line of defense and meet our growth objectives.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage risks related to third-party vendors in line with regulatory and company expectations
- Partner with internal business teams and stakeholders to ensure policy and procedure expectations are met
- Drive robust risk management through data and trend analysis, highlighting opportunities to reduce risk and enhance controls
- Manage and maintain third-party documentation, ensuring a high quality of rigor in information capture and risk assessment on company outsourcing engagements
- Schedule, execute, and document critical meeting minutes on stakeholder calibration calls
- Prepare presentations and communicate status updates at all levels, including senior leadership
- Support and maintain management information systems (MIS) and reporting
- Partner with other 1st/2nd line of defense organizations and key members of the business, who are located across the globe, on process-wide initiatives
- Support audit-related activities and control development, monitor risk levels, and produce timely reporting of risk escalations
- Raise awareness and educate business and third-party risk and relationships managers on various requirements on company programs
Requirements
- Experience working with audit, compliance, operational risk, information security, and/or control functions
- Self-motivated, team player with ability to handle multiple work streams and ad-hoc tasks simultaneously
- Strong collaboration skills and demonstrated ability to network globally
- Strong presentation skills, particularly in the development of professional and thoughtful material
- Demonstrated analytical skills, including the ability to think through all aspects of problems and generate possible courses of action
- Strong communication skills combined with an ability to interact effectively with senior leaders and business partners
- Strong analytical capabilities with attention to detail
- Proven ability to adjust quickly to shifting priorities, multiple demands, ambiguity, and rapid change
- Strong will-to-win and demonstrated personal excellence
- Proficiency in Excel, PowerPoint
