Job Summary:

We are seeking a seasoned Human Resources Director to lead our team in the Hospitality/Tourism industry. As a key member of our organization, you will provide strategic guidance on HR policies and programs, plan and implement organizational change, and represent the company at job fairs and trade shows.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership and strategic guidance on HR policies and programs.
  • Plan, develop, and implement organizational change, recruitment, onboarding, HRIS, job evaluation, compensation, training and development, performance management, employee relations.
  • Represent the company at job fairs and/or trade shows.
  • Develop compensation structures, stay on top of competitive wage rates, etc.
  • Ensure compliance across the board (employment law, government policy, legal, legislative etc.).
  • Analyze training needs, including health and safety.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Management, or related field required (CPHR an asset).
  • 10+ Year' experience (hospitality, tourism, or outdoor recreation an asset).
  • Solid leadership experience.
  • Experience conducting training for large teams.
