Assistant Manager

At Chevron (Terrace), we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Assistant Manager to join our team. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a key role in supporting the Manager in the day-to-day operations of the store.
Key Responsibilities:- Staff Management: Assist the Manager in supervising and managing a team of 5-10 people, ensuring that they are working efficiently and effectively.
- Merchandise and Services: Collaborate with the Manager to determine the merchandise and services to be sold, and to locate, select, and procure merchandise for resale.
- Marketing Strategies: Assist in developing and implementing marketing strategies to promote the store and its products.
- Staffing Requirements: Help determine staffing requirements and assist in recruiting and hiring new staff members.
- Issue Resolution: Assist in resolving issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
- Education: College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a similar role.
- Language: Fluency in English.
- Work Hours: 30 to 40 hours per week.
