Job Title: Proposal Coordinator

Smith + Andersen is seeking a highly skilled Proposal Coordinator to join our team in Toronto, ON. As a Proposal Coordinator, you will play a critical role in the preparation of client proposals and support the team in securing new and continued business.

About the Role

The successful candidate will have a minimum of 2 years of experience within an engineering, construction, or architectural firm or similar role. You will possess strong verbal communication, active listening skills, and interpersonal skills. Excellent written communication skills, along with editing and proofreading skills, are essential. Solid multi-tasking skills, time management, and organizational skills are also required.

Key Responsibilities
  • Review and interpret RFP and RFQ documents to determine requirements for successful proposal submission.
  • Liaise with client contact regarding proposal deliverables.
  • Conduct research, collect information, and attend meetings (as required) for each proposal.
  • Write, proofread, edit, and format proposal content, adapting existing content and boilerplates as needed.
  • Collaborate with leaders for technical content and organize all technical written content supplied by leaders.
  • Review proposal drafts for consistency, clarity, and appropriateness of content.
  • Collaborate with the Marketing and Communications team for graphics and visuals for proposal submissions.
  • Assist with other proposal-related duties as assigned.
