Job Summary
The Pharmacy Assistant plays a vital role in maintaining the quality and safety of our medications. This position requires exceptional attention to detail, ensuring accurate documentation of completed work and supporting Pharmacists and Technicians in maintaining our quality standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare prescriptions for filling via pharmacy software
- Process, adjudicate, and fill prescriptions
- Prepare compounds, creams, liquids, and other medications
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Ensure strict confidentiality and ethical standards
Requirements
- Experience as a Pharmacy Assistant or certification from an accredited Pharmacy Assistant program
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Strong interpersonal communication skills and ability to maintain a professional demeanor
- Ability to remain calm under pressure and meet tight deadlines
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
