Overview of the Role:
As a Senior Litigation Claims Specialist at Northbridge Financial, you will join a proactive team dedicated to meticulousness while enhancing the client experience. The Casualty and Litigation division addresses a range of claims spanning Auto, Commercial General Liability, Directors' and Officers', and Professional Liability sectors. Your responsibilities will encompass thorough investigations, assessment of coverage liability, and evaluation of damages, while working closely with external parties and legal representatives to resolve claims effectively.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing intermediate to complex claims, including those in litigation
- Verifying coverage and conducting comprehensive liability investigations
- Compiling file summaries for internal reporting, significant losses, and reinsurance purposes
- Skillfully handling a demanding daily schedule
- Delivering exceptional customer service
Qualifications:
- Post-Secondary Education in Insurance or a related discipline
- Completion or progress towards the CIP designation
- At least 5 years of experience in handling liability claims
- Familiarity with commercial lines is advantageous
- Proficient technical skills with MS Office Suite
- Excellent communication abilities with Claimants, Brokers, and Legal Counsel
