About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Manager to join our team at 70 Mile General Store. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of our store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Management: Supervise and coordinate the activities of our sales team, including cashiers, grocery clerks, and retail salespersons.
  • Inventory Management: Organize and maintain our inventory, ensuring that we have the right products in stock at the right time.
  • Customer Service: Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer requests and resolving any issues that may arise.
  • Merchandising: Order merchandise and authorize returns, ensuring that our store is well-stocked and that our customers have access to a wide range of products.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters, providing valuable insights to inform our business decisions.
Requirements
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail management role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
