Retail Store Manager

At SUPER-SAVE GAS, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team. As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our store runs smoothly and efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:- Assign sales workers to duties and ensure that they are properly trained and equipped to provide excellent customer service.
- Hire and train or arrange for training of staff, including cashiers, grocery clerks, and retail salespersons.
- Authorize payments by cheque and ensure that all financial transactions are accurate and up-to-date.
- Order merchandise and ensure that it is properly stocked and displayed.
- Authorize return of merchandise and resolve any issues that may arise.
- Establish work schedules and ensure that all employees are aware of their responsibilities and deadlines.
- Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters.
- Resolve issues that may arise, including customer requests, complaints, and supply shortages.
- Organize and maintain inventory, including tracking stock levels and ensuring that all products are properly stored and displayed.
- Supervise and co-ordinate activities of workers, including cashiers, grocery clerks, and retail salespersons.
- 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a retail environment.
- Permanent employment.
- English language proficiency.
- 40 hours per week.
