ServiceNow CMDB Specialist

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled ServiceNow CMDB Specialist to join our team at Ward Technology Talent Inc. As a key member of our IT Service Management team, you will be responsible for leading the implementation and management of our ServiceNow Configuration Management (CMDB) solution.

Key Responsibilities

  • Collaborate with business functions to build and maintain a robust service management practice and service delivery model.
  • Lead the IT Service Management processes, working closely with other ITSM Specialists to drive efficiency and effectiveness across the organization.
  • Develop and implement implementation plans, ensuring all technical and non-technical resources are in place for successful implementation and management.
  • Continuously assess the effectiveness of processes and research best practices to drive improvement.
  • Establish and meet key performance indicators, providing recommendations for continual improvement to senior management.
  • Serve as primary and backup focal for one or more ITSM processes, including Configuration Management, Change Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, Asset Management, and Request Management.

Requirements

  • Certification in ITIL 3 Service Operation or ITIL 4 Create, Deliver & Support.
  • Strong experience in ServiceNow CMDB Administration and Asset Management.
  • 5+ years' experience leading and managing ITSM processes.
  • Demonstrated experience in ServiceNow is a must.
  • Excellent communication and leadership abilities.
  • Previous vendor/supplier management experience.
  • Knowledge of business analysis and planning processes.
  • Project management capabilities.
