Our Centralized Operations Group in Banking Support thrives on collaboration, respect, and shared ideas. We are expanding our Banking Support team and have several positions available.

As a Banking Support Officer, you will manage the processing of transactions that support our branch network. This role encompasses activities related to payments, deposits, cash management products, registered products, and estates. Trust us – this role is more engaging than it may initially appear. It serves as an excellent foundation for a career in finance.

Key Responsibilities

  • Financial Transactions: Execute financial transaction activities related to registered products (RRSP, RRIF, TFSA), payments (wires, EFTs, cheques, bill payments), deposits (remote deposit capture, NDDS), cash management products (CAFT, Business Online Banking, Online Wires, Business Visa, Corporate RDC), and estate administration.
  • Risk Management: Handle high-risk processes with significant client impact, including large transactions and those with tax implications.
  • Documentation Control: Maintain long-term document management and electronic reporting for all relevant tasks.
  • Operational Efficiency: Proactively identify potential procedure improvements and best practices, sharing insights with management and colleagues.
  • Privacy Compliance: Safeguard the confidentiality of the Bank and its clients by securing all documentation outside of business hours and adhering to the employee code of conduct.
  • Collaboration: Provide direct support to the CWB branch network to ensure a superior customer experience.
  • Performance Monitoring: Regularly assess SLA targets in partnership with individual leaders to meet client needs effectively.
