Position Overview

As a vital member of our team, the Mortgage Support Specialist will play a key role in assisting a leading Mortgage Specialist in achieving sales targets and enhancing client satisfaction through exceptional administrative support.

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver outstanding service to clients through various communication channels including fax, email, and phone.
  • Ensure timely and accurate execution of client transactions and requests.
  • Build and maintain relationships with service partners to uphold operational standards and streamline transaction processes.
  • Stay informed about the mortgage industry and current market trends to provide informed solutions and support.
  • Manage the Mortgage Specialist's correspondence, prioritizing communications for efficient workflow.
  • Organize the Mortgage Specialist's schedule to maximize productivity and ensure all necessary activities are completed.
  • Oversee office operations, including managing supplies and maintaining organized records.
  • Proactively identify the needs of the Mortgage Specialist and prepare necessary materials for meetings and presentations.
  • Assist in the completion and validation of Homebase files, ensuring compliance with due diligence requirements.

Qualifications

Essential:

  • A minimum of 2 years of experience in a client service and sales support role, collaborating with a sales team.
  • Exceptional customer service abilities and strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook.
  • Familiarity with digital communication tools and technologies.

Preferred:

  • Ability to work independently and demonstrate resourcefulness.
  • Sales-driven mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
  • Knowledge of Royal Bank systems and the mortgage process is advantageous.
