About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused Insurance Account Representative to join our team at Avelar Insurance & Financial Services Inc. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and building strong relationships with our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Client Acquisition and Retention: Establish and maintain personalized relationships with clients to understand their insurance needs and provide tailored solutions.
  • Insurance Product Expertise: Educate clients on various insurance products and services, ensuring they have a comprehensive understanding of their options.
  • Policy Administration: Work with clients to service their existing policies, including requests for changes and updates.
  • Client Communication: Effectively communicate with clients to resolve any issues or concerns, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Business Development: Identify opportunities to grow our client base and increase revenue through strategic partnerships and referrals.
Requirements
  • Strong Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients.
  • Insurance Knowledge: In-depth knowledge of insurance products and services, including property and casualty insurance.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple clients and priorities, ensuring timely and efficient service delivery.
  • Language Skills: Fluency in English is required, with Spanish language skills being an asset.
Qualifications
  • Insurance Experience: Previous experience in insurance sales or customer service, with a strong understanding of insurance products and services.
  • Insurance Licenses: Property and Casualty license (OTL) or RIBO license is required, with the ability to obtain the necessary licenses.
  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent, with a strong focus on customer service and communication skills.
