We are seeking a skilled Culinary Professional to join our team at Pops Taphouse & Grill / Pops Pub North Ltd. as a Cook. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking complete meals or individual dishes and foods to the highest standards of quality and presentation.
Key Responsibilities- Food Preparation and Cooking: Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods to meet the needs of our customers.
- Kitchen Maintenance: Inspect kitchens and food service areas to ensure they are clean and well-maintained.
- Inventory Management: Maintain inventory and records of food, supplies, and equipment to ensure efficient use and minimize waste.
- Cleaning and Sanitation: Clean kitchen and work areas to maintain a safe and healthy environment.
- Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
- Experience: 7 months to less than 1 year of experience in a kitchen or food service environment.
- Certifications: Safe Food Handling certificate.
- Work Conditions: Fast-paced environment with repetitive tasks and standing for extended periods.
- Physical Capabilities: Ability to work under pressure and maintain attention to detail.
- Client Focus: Provide excellent customer service and ensure customer satisfaction.
- Dependability: Be reliable and dependable in your work and maintain a positive attitude.
- Organized: Maintain a clean and organized workspace and adhere to kitchen protocols.
- Team Player: Work collaboratively with other kitchen staff to achieve team goals.
