Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute HR Strategies: Collaborate with senior leadership to develop and execute HR strategies aligned with the bank's objectives, promoting a culture of high performance and strong employee engagement.
  • Lead Talent Management Programs: Direct comprehensive recruitment processes, including strategic headcount planning, talent management, and succession planning.
  • Employee Relations and Engagement: Manage employee relations, coaching managers on performance issues, and partnering with external counsel as needed for internal investigations.
  • Compensation and Benefits: Oversee compensation, benefits, and annual promotion exercises, ensuring decisions are aligned with market data and performance.
  • HR Operations: Ensure legal compliance, particularly with Quebec labor laws, and manage mobility and career development opportunities.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. MBA preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5-7 years of progressive HR experience in the financial industry, preferably covering sales and trading functions, with at least 3 years in a leadership role.
  • Skills: Proven track record of partnering with senior executives to advance HR strategies and address complex organizational challenges. Exceptional communication skills, adept at building relationships and communicating effectively across all organizational levels.
