Role Responsibilities
We are seeking a Claims Representative II specializing in Personal Lines Auto. Your key responsibilities will include:
- Managing moderate to complex Auto Physical Damage Claims.
- Evaluating collected information to ascertain liability and reviewing damage assessments.
- Verifying the details of the Insured's policy to confirm coverage.
- Conducting interviews with the insured and/or witnesses to gather statements for claim resolution within your authority.
- Delivering exceptional service to both external and internal clients.
- Responding to inquiries regarding investigations and the claims process.
- Ensuring timely updates to customers regarding their claim status.
Qualifications
- A minimum of a high school diploma.
- At least 2-3 years of experience in roles such as Telephone Adjuster, Commercial Adjuster, Total Loss Expert, or similar.
- Possession of a valid Provincial Auto Adjustor license for regions including Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador.
- Completion or progress towards CIP certification.
- A solid understanding of the claims process.
- Capability to manage highly complex Auto Claims.
- Skill in negotiating and communicating claim settlements within authorized limits.
- A track record of maintaining high performance and productivity levels.
- Bilingualism in English and French is a valuable asset, though not mandatory.
- No prior Canadian work experience is necessary, but eligibility to work in Canada is required.
