Role Responsibilities
We are seeking a Claims Representative II specializing in Personal Lines Auto to enhance our dynamic team.
- Manage moderate to intricate Auto Physical Damage Claims.
- Evaluate collected information, ascertain liability, and assess damage evaluations.
- Confirm the details of the Insured's policy to establish coverage.
- Conduct interviews with the insured and/or witnesses to gather statements for claim resolution within your authority.
- Deliver exceptional service to both external and internal clients.
- Address inquiries related to investigations and the claims process.
- Ensure timely communication with clients regarding their claim status.
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 2-3 years of experience in roles such as Telephone Adjuster, Commercial Adjuster, Total Loss Expert, or similar.
- Possession of a valid Provincial Auto Adjustor license for Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, Prince Edward Island, and Newfoundland and Labrador.
- Completion or progress towards CIP certification.
- Strong grasp of the claims process.
- Ability to manage highly complex Auto Claims.
- Skill in negotiating and communicating claim settlements within authorized limits.
- Consistent high performance and productivity.
- Bilingual proficiency in English and French is a strong asset, though not mandatory.
- No Canadian work experience is necessary; however, eligibility to work in Canada is required.
