Business Development Role
Sun Life Financial is seeking a Business Development Partner to join our team. As a Business Development Partner, you will be responsible for onboarding, developing, and coaching a team of Advisors to achieve financial and strategic objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead Advisors through onboarding, training, and development programs.
- Work with Advisors to meet sales growth, productivity, and client engagement targets.
- Ensure Advisors are appropriately trained, licensed, and registered to meet regulatory requirements.
- Escalate client complaints and conduct investigations as needed.
- Monitor operational effectiveness and ensure adherence to business plans.
- Develop and maintain strong sales management and business development skills.
- Provide coaching, mentoring, and performance management to Advisors.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with Advisors, clients, and internal stakeholders.
- Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry developments.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in an Advisor role with a proven track record of developing successful Advisors.
- Strong sales management and business development skills.
- Strong mentoring, coaching, and performance management skills.
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills.
- Valid Life Insurance Agent's license in the province of employment.
- A professional financial services designation is an asset.
